It was this material, thanks to its properties, that made it possible to make a tremendous leap in the development of sculptural painting at the beginning of its inception. What is so unique about Evgenia Ermilova™ brand sculpture paste that makes it special?
- It is completely ready for use.
- It allows you to create three-dimensional elements, 5-8 cm high when applied in a single layer. This allows you to make incredible petals in voluminous buds.
- Is has practically no shrinkage, and the elements become as durable as stone after drying. Even the delicate petals in the buds in the paintings are actually very strong!
- It has good adhesion to various surfaces: wood, plywood, fiberboard, metal, glass, ceramics, canvas, rough plastic, glass and even a mirror. It can be applied immediately to the desired surface without prior priming. It is very comfortable. For example, you can create three-dimensional flowers from paste without changing the color and texture of the base.
- It is not necessary to add paint to the Sculpture paste or to color the elements after creation. The palette of Evgenia Ermilova pastes consists of more than 60 shades, which allows you to work with the right color at once.
- It has not only become an ideal material for creating three-dimensional paintings in the technique of sculptural painting, but also brilliantly proved itself in other creative directions. Evgenia Ermilova™ paste can be used in: pasty painting, sculpture, bas-relief, any kind of modeling, mix media techniques, decoupage, stencil decor, jewelry creation, wall and furniture decor, etc.
- The shelf life of the paste in a tightly closed package is up to 2 years. If the rules of storage and operation are followed, this period may be longer.
How to properly store the Sculpture Paste "Evgenia Ermilova™" to extend its shelf life :
- Keep the jars tightly closed.
- Keep the jars away from the battery, heater and away from direct sunlight. The temperature range is from +5 to +30 °C
- In the opened jars, you need to mix the paste periodically, preferably 1 time per month.
- If the paste in the jar is less than half and it has started to dry quickly, then you can add a little water from the spray bottle and mix. Repeat as needed.
- When working, dried paste from the palette cannot be returned back to the jar!
- Reminder! It is not recommended to add something to the paste yourself. For example, paint. Any additive changes the composition of the paste and its properties, and the paste loses its strength.
Note : The Plaster may dry slowly if the humidity in room is high. The Plaster may turn soggy in high humid conditions, and may appear dry in low humid conditions.
IMPORTANT! Do not flush the paste down the drain and do not wash the tools in the sink. Leftover material can eventually lead to clogging of sewer pipes.

PALETTE KNIVES
Palette Knife is the main tool for sculptural painting. Palette knives of the brand "Evgenia Ermilova" are tools of different shapes with a working surface ranging from 2 to 9 cm. They have medium flexibility of steel: not very rigid and not very flexible. It is very convenient to work.
How to choose a palette knife for sculptural painting?
A palette knife is a special tool for drawing with oil or decorative plaster. Palette knives are: diamond-shaped, trapezoidal, teardrop-shaped, with a pointed or rounded blade. The different shape of the blade helps to achieve a different effect. Factors to be kept in mind before choosing the right palette knife for you -
1. Choose high-quality tools for your work
The steel of the palette knife should spring and bend well when bending, but not be too soft. The wooden handle should be smooth and comfortable in shape for the hand. Stainless steel palette knives with a wooden handle are convenient for work and will last a long time with proper operation.
2. Choose a palette knife of the desired shape and size.
In sculptural painting, the shape and size of the petals and leaves depend on the size of the working area of the palette knife. For training and getting started, there are enough palette knives with a working area of 2, 3, 5 and 6 cm. It is these palette knives that are included in the set of materials for online courses. When expanding the skills in the technique, you can experiment with other types of palette knives. For example, long and narrow ones are needed to create aster petals, and small and rounded ones are needed to create round leaves. A large and wide palette knife will help, if necessary, to transfer the entire flower at once.
The palette knives of the brand "Evgenia Ermilova" are divide into 4 categories:
"CLASSIC", "ULTRA", "SPECIAL" and "PROFESSIONAL". Each Tool has its own task.
How to properly care for the palette knives :
During creativity and at the end of work, when you need to clean the palette knives, wipe them with wet wipes. You can spray water on the tools from the spray gun and wipe with a paper towel. You can dip the palette knives a metal part into a glass of water and then wipe with a towel.
IMPORTANT! It is not advisable to constantly wash tools in the sink under running water. This can lead to clogging of sewer pipes and damage to the wooden handle.

RELIEFKA
Relief Painting is the creation of a three–dimensional pattern, ornament or drawing using texture paste "Reliefka". The paste has a homogeneous consistency, without fractions, durable after drying. You can create lines of the desired color, from 3 to 10 mm thick, immediately from a tube.
Life hacks for relief painting with "Reliefka":
1. In order for the line to be uniform and easily squeezed out, the spout of the tube must be cleaned of dried plaster before each use. Use a suitable-sized nail or toothpick.
2. If the tube starts to "spit" air when working and spoils the pattern, then shake it with the nose down. The paste will go down. Do not allow the paste in the tube to become less than 1/3. Then the amount of air emissions will be greater. Refill the paste in the tube and work on.
3. Use 2 small tubes for each color in your work. One is with a narrow hole, and the second is with a wide one. So you can draw a pattern of the desired thickness and alternate a thin pattern with a thick one.
Tips for working with "Reliefka":
- If you can't squeeze out, clean the hole. To do this clean the spout of the tube from the inside out. This should be done before each new use.
- If it is necessary to increase the thickness of the line, you need to cut off the spout of the tube and make the hole larger.
- If it's hard for you to push to draw, you need a practice! To make it easier to squeeze out, you can cut off the spout a little.
- When there is less than half of the "Reliefka" in the tube, the air can abruptly come out together with the plaster when pressed and spoil the drawing. To avoid this, shake the inverted tube hard. The plaster should descend to the spout of the tube. This will avoid unpredictable "spitting" of the material. When there is very little "Reliefka" left, add more of this color to the tube and continue to draw a three-dimensional ornament.
Where can "Reliefka" be applied:
- To create the background of paintings.
- To create an author's three-dimensional pattern or ornament on a handmade watch.
- For the decoration of mirror frames, photo frames, jewelry boxes, breakfast tables, etc.
- To create mandalas with a three-dimensional pattern
- For the decoration of furniture (doors, chests, cabinets, etc.) and the decoration of breakfast tables.
